The defender of the US national basketball team, Bradley Beal, is included in the safety and health protocols related to the coronavirus, and may miss the Games in Tokyo, the Associated Press reports.
The basketball player will be repeatedly tested in the coming days and, probably, based on the results of the tests, a decision will be made on Beal’s participation in the Olympics.
Beal participated in all three friendly matches of the US national team before the Games in Tokyo. The American team can still replace a player before the start of the Olympics.
The US national basketball team will begin its performance at the Games in Tokyo on July 25 with a match with the French team.
