We have already written more than once that the Honor brand, after the separation from Huawei, is preparing its first foldable smartphone for release. Now some details about the new product have appeared on the network.
According to the Chinese insider Digital Chat Station, the device will receive a form factor like the Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Huawei Mate X2. It will also be equipped with two displays: the main one at 8 inches and an additional one on the outside with a diagonal of 6.5 inches. By the way, the first generation Huawei Mate X had similar display sizes.
According to an insider, BOE will supply panels for the new Honor product. It is currently testing Ultra Thin Flexible Glass technology. As for the filling, the smartphone is credited with the Snapdragon 888 processor and up to 12 GB of RAM. The device may enter the market with the name Honor Magic Fold.
There is no release date for the smartphone yet, but rumor has it that it will be released on the market before the end of this year.
