Wuhan virologist wife died from coronavirus before the pandemic

The wife of one of the virologists at the Wuhan laboratory died of coronavirus in December 2019. This is reported by the Daily Caller, citing a former employee of the US State Department, David Asher, who was investigating the origin of COVID-19.

“This was the first indication that the virus could spread to humans,” he said.

The death of the lab employee’s wife was reported to Asher by a person who worked at the Wuhan Institute of Virology at the time.

According to him, the Chinese authorities allegedly “hid for a month” information that the coronavirus is contagious to people. This contributed to the outbreak of the epidemic, the official said. Earlier, The Wall Street Journal wrote about the serious illness of three Chinese researchers from the Institute of Virology in Wuhan shortly before the pandemic.
