Xiaomi has announced the launch of the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition update for the third wave of its devices. This batch is quite large-scale – there are more than 20 device models in it.

According to Xiaomi’s timeline, all third-batch models will receive the update by December 2021. Although, of course, due to the fact that there are a lot of gadgets, the distribution of the firmware may be delayed.

The list includes the following devices:

  • Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro 5G
  • Redmi Note 11 Pro
  • Redmi K30 Extreme Edition
  • Xiaomi CC9 Pro
  • Redmi 10X, Redmi 10X Pro
  • Redmi Note 11 5G
  • Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite (Youth Edition)
  • Redmi K30 5G
  • Redmi K30i 5G
  • Xiaomi Mi 9
  • Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro
  • Redmi K30
  • Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition
  • Xiaomi CC9

As you can see, this applies to China, since some smartphones from the list are sold only there. But we expect that soon after the Celestial Empire, the update will reach the global market.
