By the end of this month, Xiaomi should present its new proprietary firmware – MIUI 13. In the meantime, the company continues to update its smartphones to MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition.
The distribution of the latest firmware has begun for two devices of the Redmi sub-brand. These are Redmi 9T and Redmi K40 Gaming Edition. The former is sold in international markets and the latter is exclusive to China. The update is currently being rolled out to the following regional variants with build numbers:
- Global – V220.127.116.11.RJQMIXM
Turkey – V18.104.22.168.RJQTRXM
Redmi K40 Gaming Edition
- China – V22.214.171.124.RKJCNXM
The update is being released in batches, so as usual it may take a while.
By the way, Redmi 9T was originally launched in China as Redmi Note 9 4G. This version has already received an update. At the same time, the variant sold in India as the Redmi 9 Power has yet to receive an update, as have the rest of the regional variants of the Redmi 9T. On the other hand, Redmi K40 Gaming Edition is also called POCO F3 GT in India. The POCO device version should receive an update in the coming days.
