Japanese manufacturer Yamaha has unveiled its new on-ear headphones called YH-L700A.
The novelty was equipped with 40 mm drivers that operate in the range from 8 Hz to 40 kHz. The headphones have a closed design and, when connected via a 3.5 mm jack, support Hi-Res audio. For wireless connection, Bluetooth 5.0 with AAC and aptX Adaptive codecs is used. There is no Dolby Atmos support here, but instead, the proprietary 3D Sound Field surround sound technology is used. It works with both iOS and Android devices.
In addition, the Yamaha YH-L700A received the Listening Optimiser function, which adjusts the sound depending on the fit of the headphones on the head, the “transparency” mode and the active noise cancellation (ANC) system. For its operation, an external and an internal microphone is used. As for the autonomy, with all the included functions, it will last up to 11 hours. If you turn them off, the headphones can work up to 34 hours. The Yamaha YH-L700A has swivel ear cups and an adjustable headband. The device weighs 330 g. The novelty is supplied with a case.
The Yamaha YH-L700A will go on sale in August. They will ask for 520 euros for the headphones.
