YouTube has deprived the US senator of Kentucky, Republican Rand Paul, of the opportunity to publish for a week because of a video that challenges the effectiveness of wearing fabric masks to contain the spread of coronavirus.

“Badge of honor… the left-wing fools from YouTube ban me for seven days for a video that quotes two peer-reviewed articles saying that fabric masks do not work,” the senator wrote on Twitter and offered to watch the video on another site.

According to The New York Times, according to a YouTube representative, the senator’s statements in the video violated the company’s policy on disinformation regarding the coronavirus.
