According to the Ukrainian president, Kyiv has not received guarantees from any country.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskiy complained that the United States had not agreed to provide security guarantees in the form that Kyiv had asked for.

“I would like to thank the United States and the administration of President Joe Biden for the support from both parties, for everything they do for us. But nevertheless, the United States has not provided us with security guarantees. This should be understood,” Zelenskiy said in an interview with CBS on Sunday. “So far we have not received them from anyone,” the President of Ukraine added.

Kyiv insists that security guarantees from world powers should mean readiness to provide military assistance if Ukraine is attacked, following the example of collective defense obligations in the NATO charter.
